About 10 years to build, but it was built nonetheless! Huge thanks to Dave Matthews from Ireland for the engine cylinders/piston parts. The parts that come with the kit are abysmal to put it mildly, so after seeing photos of his build on his website, I reached out to him to ask how he went about building his as they were clearly scratch built and looked terrific. I doubted I would get any response but to my surprise he just asked me what my address was and then mailed me over a set. I was very surprised and deeply grateful for his act of kindness and I couldn't be more happy with the result. Check out his Spirit build and his other terrific work at his website.
